is a very competitive business given the time required to
conceive, design, test a new system and evaluate its
feasibility, " he said to his audience. "Any
information concerning the product during the conception,
design or test phase would provide a competitive company
with invaluable fuel for bursting their product before
the primary company product release to the market.
Given my position in a company that frequently
competes with other companies, I have considered the
likelihood of compromised employees that sell information
to competitors, or clever spies that gain access to
company secrets. You may laugh at my statements,
since industrial espionage is not as important as
government espionage. However, I will provide you with
evidence to the contrary that industrial espionage is
more dangerous than military espionage. Which
affects the national economy more, industrial or military
espionage? "
